It is recommended that 9th and 10th grade students utilize FCAT Explorer during Spring Break in preparation for the upcoming FCAT test. This tool is designed to assess students' areas of strengths and work on the developing areas. The site is http://www.fcatexplorer.com
The FCAT Explorer web site is one tool you can use to practice answering FCAT type questions and receive immediate feedback on your responses. Follow the directions below to access and use this site.
FCAT EXPLORER DIRECTIONS:
1) SIGN IN NAME: Last name First initial (no spaces).
2) Password: First four letter of last name and Birthday two digits for month and day preceded by 51 for Pasco.
Example: Joe Hudson Birthday Jan. 12 Sign in Name: hudsonj Password: 51huds0112
3) Double click on reading or math.
4) BEGIN PRACTICE.
When you finish reading or math: Click on sign out. Click on exit FCAT Explorer
